Cycle Steps |
1. This was the start of the route to take us to Dungannon in Ireland. The aim of step one was to get to Liverpool Docks in time to catch the ferry. As you can see we didn't quite achieve this and had to stop at Rice Lane railway station, as we were tight for time to catch the ferry, but it was still good fun.
This road route mainly followed the A59, where there are not a bad amount of cycle lanes, but it did get a bit hairy on the motorway junction roundabout where it was very very busy.

Landmarks/Sites to see? |
Plenty of country views and local shops, when in built up areas, but route was not marked very well at all.
