| 1. This is a road route, on a mix of A and country roads, that has a number of climbs.
Head out on the A4094 towards Cookham, cutting across country roads to avoid Bourne End. In Cookham take the B4447 and then turn off right to go up the long side of Winter Hill. Go under the A404 and down into Marlow. Turn right onto the A4155, and the fork left onto Wycombe Road, towards Handy Cross. Theres a 1 mile climb up towards Handy Cross. At Handy Cross turn right and ride down into Winchbottom Lane, once again going under the A404. This is followed by the steep climb out the other side towards Wycombe Ski Slope and RACF Dawes Hill. It is then an easy 3+ miles ride home along the flat through Flackwell Heath.
