1. This is a road route, in the Andalusia area of Southern Spain, on a mix of Spanish A, CO, MA and country roads, that has climbs and great views.
The route starts with a nice ride, mainly on the A-333, across the Rio Genil and into Iznajar. You then ride back on the A-333 over the bridge, but turn off right onto a country road. This takes you up into the hills, where there is a good 18% climb to some great views of the area, including snow on the Sierra Nevada. The road snakes around heading west, then turns north and follows the river. After this you take a sharp left turn off towards Alarconas y Antorchas. This road is less twisty and brings you to a T junction at the MA-6101. Turn left onto this and then stay left to join the CO-9200. Follow this through Corona Algaida y Gata as it turns south and goes on until the junction with the A-333. Go right onto this and then left onto the A-328 and follow this back to the start point. |
