| 1. This is a lovely, rolling, road route, on a mix of A, B and country roads.
The route goes from Bedworth under the A444 to Corley Ash on country roads, it then follows the B4098 through Fillongley. It then joins the B4114 through Over Whitacre and into Furnace End. Here you turn right onto Atherstone Road, B4116. Follow the B4116 through Bentley, past Baxterley, across the A5 roundabout, past the Daw Mill and Atherstone (cracking downhill maxed at 47mph), Continue on the B4116 through Sheepy Magna, then turn right onto the B585. Follow this through Sheepy Parva and on to the A444 T junction. Turn right onto the A444 and follow this through Sibson and Fenny Drayton to the A5. Go left and then right to stay on the A444 and follow this to Nuneaton. Go through Nuneaton on the A444, then on the way out, turn off the roundabout into Coventry Road, B4113 and follow this back to Bedworth. |
