| 1. This is a very quiet, picturesque, road route, mainly on B roads, with hills.
I planned this route from the local OS map, then went out and rode it on a quiet sunday morning. It was a lot hillier than I realised.
The route leaves Bromyard on the A44, heading towards Linton. However, on the outskirts you take a sharp left hand turn off the A44 and onto the B4203, heading towards Bromyard Downs. Follow the B4203 across the B4204 crossroads, this being the join in the figure eight, and on towards Great Witley.
Just before Great Witley and the A443, turn right onto Home Farm Lane and cut across to the B4197 junction. At this, turn right onto the B4197, heading for Martley.
At Martley turn right onto the B4204, heading for Clifton upon Teme. Follow the B4204 back to the B4203 crossroads, you've been here before, and on through Broad Heath and Upper Rochford to Tenbury Wells.
At Tenbury Wells turn left onto the A4112, to go through Tenbury, and then turn left onto the B4214, heading back towards Bromyard. Follow the B4124 into and through Bromyard, then turn off down Clover Road to get back to the A44 and the start. |
