1. This is a mixed route, with some roads, but mainly on forest tracks, that has a steady climb near the start.

Once in Glen Loinn Crescent, Succoth head NE, staying on the straight tarmac road across the open grass area. Follow the road as it gently bends right and left, then turns sharp left and heads into the trees. In the trees turn left onto the forest track.
Follow the track until you come to a right turn at a fork in the road. Go right and follow the track as it climbs steadily and turns left around A'Chrois(849m/2785ft) and on till it reaches the Dam.
At the dam, the track swings to the right and turns back on itself, Follow the track left over the burn and to the junction with another track. Turn right onto this track.
Follow the track and soon you'll be out of the trees. Cross over the burn as the track swings right. Follow the track along the side of the trees and on till the T junction with another track.
Turn right onto this track and follow it till the first turn off to the right. Take this and then the left at the fork.
Follow this track as it bends right and heads down between the trees back towards Succoth.
When level with Succoth, turn right out of the trees and right at the T junction. Swing right and the take the sharp dogleg left. Follow this road around to the left and up to the T junction. Turn left onto the road you originally left Succoth on. This takes you back to Glen Loinn Crescent where you started. |
