| 1. A road route, mainly on country and B roads, that is a good sprint circuit, with the addition of a decent hill climb up the A5 from Crick.
Follow the B5414 till the A5 T junction, where you jink right and left to head for Catthorpe.
In Catthorpe swing left and left again to head under the M6 towards Shawell.
In Shawell turn right onto the Swinford Road and follow this over the M1 to Swinford.
In Swinford turn right onto Lutterworth Road and then right again into the High Street. Then take a left into Stanford Road. Follow this through Stanford on Avon, across the A14 and through Clay Cotton to Yelverton.
In Yelverton turn right onto Crick Road and follow this across the A428 into Crick.
At the T junction in Crick turn right onto Main Road and follow this to the roundabout on the Crick Industrial Estate. Turn right and go to the A428 roundabout. Turn left onto the A428.
Go straight across the roundabout under the M1, staying on the A428. At the next roundabout go staright across, leaving the A428 and joining the A5. Go straight across the next roundabout, staying on the A5 heading north. Turn left, off the A5 into Lilbourne Road, heading for Clifton Upon Dunsmore.
In Clifton Upon Dunsmore follow the B5414 back to the beginning. |
