| 1. This is my first ride on my road bike! It's a very easy, quiet and flat, road route, with some ups and downs, which has pleasant views over the farms to enjoy.
Head north on the B4104 and turn right at the T junction, staying on the B4104, Abbey Hill. Follow the B4104 until the intersection with the A452, Rosemary Hill.
Follow the A452 round to the left and on till the crossroads. Turn right,off the A452 onto New Street, A429. Follow the A429 until the second turning on the left. Turn left, off the A429 onto Crackley Lane. Follow this as it becomes Brockendon Road and goes to the T junction by Westwood Business Park.
Turn left at the junction, onto Westwood Heath Road, and follow this to the forked junction. Turn left at the fork onto Cromwell Lane, and follow the road through Burton Green. After Burton Green take the first turn off on the left, Red Lane. Follow this till the A452 T junction.
Turn left onto Birmingham Road, A452 and follow this till it turns sharpley left at the outskirts of Kenilworth. At this point go straight on, off the A452 and onto Clinton Lane, B4103.
Follow the B4103 past Kenilworth Castle and back to the Kenilworth Square roundabout, where you started from.
