1. This is a long and fairly challenging road route, mainly on B and country roads, with a number of long climbs and fast descents. It is a ride that would take around 4 hours and is not a family friendly route. However, the roads are generally quiet, with hardly any traffic to worry about. The scenery is pretty amazing in places with spectacular views of the North Downs and the surrounding countryside. The route forms a figure eight. The route shown has a clockwise bottom loop, with the initial part to Cobham before the top loop and the remainder after the top loop. The top loop from Higham to Cliffe is down to your own preference. |
