| 1. From Stanley St, Turn left onto High St.
At Red Lion PH, Turn left onto Barwell La [road becomes a pathway/cycletrack].
After going through under pass, emerge onto A47 Normandy Way [Hinckley bypass] head towards Nuneaton.
After Crossing A447 Ashby Road at traffic lights, continue straight on for 3 roundabouts. 1st roundabout has Milestone Pub & Halfords Store.
At Canal bridge, leave A47 and follow towpath North for 2.5miles approx.
Leave Towpath at Station Road, Stoke Golding, heading east towards Village centre.
Turn Left on High St, following road to Stoke La, Dadlington.
Go straight over Crossroads onto Stapleton Lane, Following the road to the centre of stapleton Village.
Turn right onto Main St A447 [take care this is a busy road, with a high volume of traffic, NATIONAL SPEED LIMIT]
Follow the road out of the village, past the public house.
Take 1st Left toward Barwell, Stapleton Lane.
Follow road to village centre.
Turn right onto High St at mini roundabout.
take 1st left onto Stanley Street to return to your starting position. |
