| 1. Start on cycle route 6 linby/hucknall border head towards newstead.
Through newstead village via annesley cuttings to annesley head back towards m1 looking on your left after church ruins turn left on weavers lane.
Follow weavers lane over m1 then carefully down steep track.
At bottom as you reach stream turn left over stream and follow track this takes you alongside moorgreen reservoir. Turn left follow towards watnall then 1st left after horse and groom pub follow new road till you come to farm on left with public footpath sign turn left heading towards hucknall back over m1, follow track till you come to houses getting onto common lane onto hucknall bypass and back towards linby.
