| 1. Leaving from Torness car park and heading up the hills towards grantshouse. Pass Cocklaw and abbey st bathans then to Grantshouse.
Climb up to the top of grantshouse road and a long fast downhill to Preston. Hook a left into Preston and carry out some excellant flats to get the average speed up to Chirnside.
Turn towards Chirnside and down to Allanton, over some cross roads and before you get to Whitsome turn to Norham. Watching out for the dog that chases you on the farm and over a couple of cross roads and arrive down the toll bank over the beautiful bridge and river tweed and head into Norham.
Finish at the green for a well deserved pint and the queen vic or a sandwich and cuppa at formans butchers shop. |
