| 1. Down barrowby lane along side the M1, after crossing the bridge you follow the bridal way to garforth golf club (sign posted footpath but is actually a bridal way), take care of flying golf balls when riding through the club and remember the golfers always come first (if they get too many complaints the club will make it more difficult for us to use the path) you come out at a small farm and on your left there is a small sandwich shop for lunch, carry on up the farm track (concrete) and cross the road, once you get to the bottom of the track you come to the fly line, turn right and follow this all the way up to the top of ash lane, turn right and you have about half a mile on road (fairly quiet if you pick the right time of day) and up at the top of main street again.
Perfect place to stock up on any tubes you may of had to use on the way round the loop! |
