| 1. Very nice and relatively easy route of 24 miles
for someone with time on their hands.
Starting in Witham heading out into the countryside along Blunts Hall Road and towards Terling.When in Terling follow the route to Braintree/Fuller Street.Follow signs into Great Leighs and follow sign to Leez Priory over A131.
Once past wedding venue follow signs for Little Leighs and when you arrive at Brintree Road take a left along footpath head back towards St Annes Castle Pub.
Turn right at pub and then next left signposted Ranks Green.
Follow this road until you arrive back at Fuller Street and turn left.
Take next left towards Fairstead and just past the church on the hill turn right.
Follow road round and then take next left towards Witham.
When you come to next junction avoid left turn and go stright across and back to Blunts Hall Road.
Two and a half hours at a leisurely pace. |
