| 1. This is an 8 mile Commuter Route and can be used as a training route between St Helens and Wigan all roads but there are varients. The route involves a long hill climb from Billinge all the way to Winstanley Road Bridge (Windy Harbour) over the M6 Motorway, the dropping down into Wigan warning be carefull at Saddle Junction even though there is a cycle lane from here into Wigan not many motorists to notice of them. | |
