| 1. A nice family ride of about 12 miles, undulating terrain with a few steep bits (but who says you can't get off and walk?)but also some lovely downhills too. Staveley is a lovely little place with lots to see. If you time it right you will be feeling hungry so call in to Wilf's Cafe or Artisan, or if you prefer have a pub lunch, you won't be disappointed. If you're "in to bikes" Wheelbase is a must, a fantastic cycling Alladin's Cave! Most of the roads are quiet not much traffic, but keep your wits about you just in case!
