| 1. Starting at Meopham railway station (parking available), the route keeps mostly to country lanes and avoids excessively long steep climbs. From Meopham the route heads out to Shorne, then Cliffe, High Halstow (there's a bench by the road to sit if you want to rest for a snack and water - handy as it's just after a short steep climb), Allhallows, Hoo, Higham, Cobham and back to Meopham. At 40 miles it's just right to blow away the cobwebs and remind you just how good life can be. | |
