| 1. This is a quick intro to the Surrey Hills with a mix of road, bridleway and mud. There are four or so good climbs at intervals throughout - starting with Chilworth to Newlands Corner. Nice views from the top of the Downs - and the hanging valley below Great Kings Wood always looks idyllic. Some fast downhill to compensate for the climbs and some speedy off-road to quicken the pulse. Extension loops are possible at various points to take in more scenic areas or to alter the road / off-road balance. |
