Cycle Steps
1. From Main Street, up Lorton Road, follow through Lorton, following signs to Loweswater. Ride along side lake (on your left), up fangs brow (steep hill) to top and turn right towards Mockerkin. BEWARE - you go downhill fast and it's bendy, but crucially there is a blind bend in the village with narrow gap between two houses, and drivers come round it as if nothing is going to come the other way! A short right on the A5086 and first left, following signs to Ullock then Dean, Greysouthern and Brigham, and through Brigham village (ignore signs in village saying Cockermouth or you will end up on the A66) keeping head. Lane takes you finally to A66. Turn right onto the A66 for a few yards, then you will see a very small path though the hedge which then puts you onto Brigham Road in Cockermouth. To the end of the road and left, and left at the lights will take you to mini roundabout and if you turn right you are back on Main Street
