| 1. A nice ride at the weekend as traffic is a lot lighter on the Burton Joyce stretch. The ride is quite flat until you reach the little roller coaster part between Thurgarton and Brackenhurst College. The Oxton Road climb is a steady incline lasting about 2.5 mile but has a great descent as a reward at the top. The route Flattens out again until the end. | |
