Cycle Steps |
1. I did this route on a hybrid bike. There is one busy stretch of road between Stanghow and the turn off for the moor road. There are plenty of places for refreshment on route in Saltburn there are cafes, shops and pubs; in Common Dale there is a pub. There is a cafe in Kildale, and cafes pubs and shops in great ayton. In the urban areas I used cycle tracks, and in the rural areas the roads are quiet. The ride spends a significant amount of time on the yorkshire moors national park. |

Landmarks/Sites to see? |
There is a bike shop in Great Ayton (Bike Traks), closed Sat PM, and Sunday. The ride goes through some lovely countryside including the yorkshire moors. The last third of the ride is more urban.
