Cycle Steps |
1. From the high st in Markyate its a steady pull upto the Zoo at Whipsnade with a fantastic views and a great decent of Bison Hill . Turn Left at the bottom running dwon to Dagnall , Straight across the roundabout for a long climb up towards Ashridge . Take the first right turn once you are up near Deer Leap . This will roll out to a decent to the main road from Ivinghoe with a couple of great hairpin bends on the way . Turn right and then first Left to take you dwon towards Slapton. You need to then head right to Horton and Cheddington with a long stretch to Long Marston. Turning left to Wilstone across the Icknield Way and then left skirting around Tring before popping back into pick up the main road into Berko High street . Keep going straight on until you turn left just after the Church , this will take you up Gravel path over the canal bridge and upto the top of the hill on the corner near the Golf Club then descend towards the Leighton Buzzard Road , straight acros and upto Gaddesden Row before heading back into Markyate for a well earned Cuppa at the Cafe in the high street |
