| 1. This route involves two long but steady climbs over the Pennines on the A62 and back over to Halifax on the A672. It finishes with an even more punishing pair of climbs up to Outlane and finally up Deep Lane, which is one of the steepest roads in Huddersfield. Traffic can be heavy on the main roads so avoid peak times. |
