| 1. Heading out of Anstey toward Woodhouse on country roads, in Woodhouse cuts off on a track (slightly rough/gravelly but doable tarmac) past Beaumanor Hall to Woodthorpe to avoid the roads. Cycle path in Loughborough for a few hundred metres then off toward the canal on a side-road. Follow the towpath for 3/4 mile to Meadow lane and cross the rail tracks there to leave Loughborough heading to Stanford on Soar following the road round and up the hill toward East Leake. On to Gotham then into Clifton to join (briefly, 100m) the A453 then onto the cycle paths at the University. |
