| 1. A Wirral Loop taking in the best views. The route is 80% bridal ways and country parks with a small amount of quiet roads. Ideal bike would be a mountain bike for this ride.
Starting at West Kirby you ride along the prom then head on to the Wirral Way which takes you through Thurstaton, Parkgate and Neston, you then head towards Chester using the Ness cycle way and The River Dee. At Chester you head back along the Shropshire Canal to Ellesmere Port then Eastham Woods before riding alongside the Mersey to New Brighton. After New Brighton you ride alongside the Mersey part Leasowe, Meols and Hoylake before returning to West Kirby. |
