| 1. A great excursion through the New Forest and along the Avon. Route lends itself to someone who would like to explore a beautiful area, as opposed to the racer. Detour is the route I took by accident 1st time but is my preference over the more direct road, which can get very busy. Route is designed as linear, returning on the train to Ashurst or (as I do) to Southampton. |
