| 1. Good mix of on and off road. Brushes Sherwood Pines in order to reach the start of the Southwell Trail (old railway line) at Bilsthorpe. Take this flat offroad trail all the way to the Trent River at Rolleston. Cycle next to the Trent down to Gunthorpe Lock and round to public footpath off main street to reach Caythorpe mircobrewery, The Black Horse. Also 100 yards up the road is the smallest townhall in the world. The way back, other lane Blidworth woods is mainly quiet lanes and farm roads. | |
