The Co-Op at the bottom of Singleton Park is a nice place to stock up if you want some snacks or water.
The Railway Inn is just over a quarter of the way up the Clyne valley path and is a nice stopping point. CK's in Penclawdd is very reasonably priced for water or snacks for the way back.
There's some gorgeous scenery along the North Gower Trail near the end of the ride for a lunch spot.
No bike shops along the route unfortunately, but there will be plenty of fellow cyclists so if you run into trouble I'm sure someone might stop and help.
