| 1. Largely quiet country lanes with some short B and A road stretches (the A420 stretch near Faringdon is only 200m or so).
A few bumps but reasonably flat with the exception of the steep climb up the White Horse Hill but you could always miss that link and continue from Uffington to Fernham. |

Uffington has a well stocked community shop located next to the recreation ground and is a good place for a breather before attempting the climb to White Horse Hill with its iconic hill figure and fantastic views over the Vale.
