| 1. A simple 10 mile loop that follows cycle paths where possible.
Mostly a gentle climb for the first few miles until midway (Hat & Feather) when it drops to meet the Derwent Walk for the final easy climb back towards Consett park.
1.5 miles of the B6308 road & crossing the B6309 is the busiest stretch for traffic.
This is a simple route for younger traffic aware riders & older members who would prefer to avoid the long steep hills around Consett. |
