I joined the route at Wentworth Road, having come from Conisbrough via Old Denaby and Kilnhurst. I didn't print the route as it looked (and is) fairly straight forward. Some signs are obscured by vegetation and some are missing but I guessed the right direction at these points. I had checked the train times at penistone for my return and arrived 45 minutes earlier than I expected, so I continued up the TPT for 15 minutes and then turned and came back down to Penistone station, which made for a good 3 hour ride, with only a couple of short stops. | ||
