This is a road route, mainly on A roads, which, in an anti clockwise direction, has a fast downhill section. The route goes from Shooters Hill, in Woolwich, and goes out via Bromley and Biggin Hill to Westerham. It then returns via Orpington, Chislehurst, Mottingham and Eltham to Shooters Hill. The roads are busy to start with, but once you get into Kent the scenery starts to become nice. Westerham hill is a nice hill to get some speed up. Just be wary, as it is very steep and turns can approach quickly. |

Certainly best ridden anti-clockwise. Westerham Hill is an exhillerating 50mph downhill - although watch the bends and minor junctions - but pretty nasty if you ride up it - gradually increasing gradient to 20%. | ||
