| Short ~9 mile run with short hills both up and down and flat roads. Busy on the main road with varying traffic depending on the time. There is no streetlights going into and out of Lambley on the roads. I have cycled this at night many times with a front light (not a high beam torch) with no problem. Rarely there are badgers,foxes,hedgehogs or farm animals close to or on the road so be ready to stop. I prefer to cycle slightly more in the center of the road at night to give more warning and avoidance for animals. There is also a few blind corners, grates and bumps worth avoiding! If you plan to do this you must be happy cycling on roads. In particular being able to pull out in front of traffic on the main road to make the turn into Lambley. Similarly positioning yourself in advance of road grates. |
