This is a road route, mainly on A roads, that is a lovely ride alongside the Thames. It is hilly around Maidenhead, then levels out around the river, before one last climb up to Danesfield. From here you are back to the river again.

The ride through maidenhead can be a little lively with traffic and quite poor roads. The road from Henley to Marlow is fantastic but tight nearly got knocked off by 7.5 ton truck last time.
