Relatively easy ride mainly along country roads. Starting in Smallfield - being a halfway point on the London to Brighton route - and going west to Horley, then north to Reigate away from traffic. Up the A217 into Reigate, then missing out the town centre to continue north to Merstham, where part of the L2B route is picked up. Little climb up through Nutfield, over the A25, then practically downhill all the way back through Outwood to Smallfield. Distance = 18.5 miles. Leisurely ride takes 1.5 hours. | |
