This is a long day out, covering 100 miles. Avoiding main roads, this route ambles though Cambridgeshire villages, circling, but not enetering Cambridge. It visits, Newmarket, Ely and the southern part of the Fens. The route rises from zero feet in the Fens to a maximum of 400 feet above sea level near the vineyards of Linton.
