Leave South Cave heading for Elloughton before heading through Welton and Melton and into North Ferriby. Take Woodgates lane up to Swanland (for an easier ride, but with more traffic, take Swanland Hill). Turn right and continue past Swanland Pond (a nice place to stop for a drink) before passing the church. Turn left at the end and head down occupation lane, take a right turn at the end before turning left towards Raywell. Turn right towards Cottingham but take a left turn before passing under the Beverley to Hessle road and head to Skidby. Turn left at the cross roads and follow this road through Skidby and then Little Weighton. After Little Weighton take the left turn to South Cave and continue along the road back into South Cave. The traffic is normally light on these roads except at rush hours. Suits strong riders due to some hard climbs. |
