We used the national cycle way to Pedestrian Tunnel then joined the Wagon-ways on the North side of the river. We followed these before joining cycle path on coast up to Blyth. The return journey was back to Seaton Sluice then to road past Delavel Hall picking up the wagon ways again coming out at Monkseaton Metro Station from here we had to follow the roads back through top of Whitley Bay then on to North Shields back to the Pedestrian Tunnel then follow cycle paths back to starting point. |
