From Surbiton the route follows the roads on the north side of the Thames out to Eton, then crosses into Windsor, past the Castle and into the Great Park. Down the Long Mile and through the Park, past Guards Polo ground and round the south side of Virginia Water Lake. Stop for coffee at the car park, then on through Virginia Water, Chertsey, over Chertsey Bridge and follow th tow path back to Walton Bridge. Then along the tow path to Hampton Court, & through Thames Ditton back to Surbiton. |
