Start in Somerset Square (Brewhouse Theatre) Follow canal path and Hyde Lane to Creech St Michael. Route runs parallel to M5 till West Newton. Crossing A38 at Thurloxton is safe providing you look out for fast traffic. Ride up toward Broomfield is a gentle gradient. Descent to Hestercombe House is steep and needs care
