Weston Super Mare to Bristol Airport and Back Cycle Route
Cycle Steps | |
This is quite easy to start with no hills untill you have gone about 9 miles then its uphill to about 560m at the sumit Bristol Airport then down all the way home though can be busy on both teh A386, A38 and the A370 during the weekdays. P.s I put difficulty as 4 because of the climb to the sumit though it is a climb on single track minor roads till the A38. |

Some parts of route near Blagdon were amazing. However a lot of cycling on busy roads. The best part was being able to freewheel for what seemed like 20 mins from the airport to Blagdon lake - amazing! Oh, be careful at the bridge near Wick which leads to the A370. It is controlled by traffic lights for the single file crossing but the lights do not stay green long enough for you to get to the other side and the traffic roars towards you in a most unforgiving way with a lot of people hurling insults at you, thinking you have gone through a red light!! | ||
