This route is mainly offroad farmtracks with great views around Kingsclere/Newbury and over the Bourne Valley. There is a fair amount of long climbs on this rural ride and is suited to riders of good fitness level. Roads are kept to a minimum, but caution is required when crossing the A34 @ Litchfield. An alternative route is available via a deviation to a underpass to the south, this found overgrown with nettles for some of the year. Cross the A34 at your risk! |
