| Follow the Portsmouth Road to Burlesdon then turn right into Hamble Lane. Follow this into Hamble. Then retrace your route out of Hamble over the railway, and turn left into Hound Road. Head through Netley and along the coast back to Woolston again. | |

| I have done a similar route to this but there is a slightly different route that I take, if you cut up through Royal Victoria Country park which leads you up just at the top of hamble. Do you know any other routes around the area? For proper mountain biking I keep heading to QE but thought there might be something closer...? | ||
