This is a nice ride that can be completed comfortably in one morning. It starts and finishes at the Wotton Hatch (RH5 6QQ), a 'gastropub' on the A25 between Dorking and Guildford. This is easily accessed via the A3 (M25 J10) or the A24 (M25 J9). The ride is relatively flat but does start and finish in the Surrey Hills. There is a sharp hill at Blackheath and again at the end of the ride at Leith Hill. Otherwise the route is gently rolling through some lovely countryside. There are various villages on route for break stops or if supplies need to be purchased.

Leith Hill is worth a look, but it does mean getting off the bike and walking the last 400m to the summit. |

We did this ride starting from Godalming. We're just social cyclists and found some of the hills pretty challenging, a mix of some busy A roads and nice country lanes. Definately more than a morning for us!
