| Start and end of ride are easy so good for warm up/down. Middle of ride (around castle howard) There is a varried terrain with long rolling hills to short steep ones. Nice relaxed ride with the potential to be longer by adding extra routes around castle howard. Terrington bank has a reputation for being hard work but in my opinion its bulmer bank that is the steepest heading into the village anyway. The hills leading away from kirkham abbey should also not be underestimated. | |
