Folkestone to Elham Circular Cycle Route

Difficulty because of a hard climb from Newington to Arpinge. Well worth the effort lovely mainly rural ride once on the top. Mainly quiet rural roads. This route was added from a GPX file. Add your own here Add GPX Cycle Route |

Very enjoyable. We went on a hot sunny day - the small lanes to Elham have overhanging trees that provide shade. At Paddlesworth go first left down school lane and then left again there is an amazing valley of green country fields. Pub stop - King Arms in a lovely square ask the barman about Rupert the dog and his memorial. Its plain sailing home with a stop at The Ship Inn in Sandgate for a spot of refreshment on the balcony overlooking the sea. | ||
