You can start from the station and turn right. Follow the main road over the railway bridge and out of the village on A274. Take the third right hand turn towards Sissinghurst and continue on this road before taking the second right turn. At the end of this quiet lane, turn right passing some beautiful Kentish houses. At the dogleg in the road you should glimpse Sissinghurst Castle to your left. Contune down the hill and turn right onto Sand Lane. Follow this road until the end, then turn left into Frittenden. Take the first right out of the village and continue on this lane crossing the railway and then the river. At the end, turn right onto Moat Road and into Headcorn. Take a right at the end of the road and continue on the main road through the village and the Railway Station is back on you right again. |
