Very flat route along the sea wall. A really good safe route for first timers and families.

Easy! But nice. Brilliant for beginners, starts off very nice, but slightly bumpy, works into very flat Tarmac which is great! Then onto a bumpier bit. I don't recommend going past the end of the sea front, I just turn around to avoid traffic, but it is really fun and would recommend it any day!

Unfortunately there is no single off road path from Dungeness to Hythe. If you set off from the lighthouse near the Dungeness power station you would struggle to ride on shingle. The route on the sea defences starts near a lighthouse south of Dymchurch and ends 2 miles short of Hythe. We had come from Surrey to explore this bit of coastline so we''re disappointed. However lunch at the snack shack in Dungeness is not to be missed that was the day''s highpoint
