Cycle Steps
We parked in the small car park on the seafront at Queenborough and followed the path north alongside the estuary. The path eventually goes inland and around a massive imported car park. We rode along the sea wall through Sheerness and eastwards as far as we could before cutting inland. Keeping as close to the coast as we could, we arrived in Leysdown for tea and cake at the first cafe we came across. Unfortunately the return journey was along the busy B2231(my wife doesn't like traffic) before we arrived back at Queenborough. Not too hilly at all but because of the traffic, not child friendly either.

Probably the worst ride ever! Drivers in Sheppey really dont like bikes and am pretty sure they wouldn't care less if they hit you! Got twatted with flying gravel from cars overtaking all the way back from Leysdown. On the other hand Minster beach was quite nice.

I can't disagree. The road section between Leysdown to Queenborough was pretty awful and almost put my wife off any further cycling. The first half was pretty good though.
