| I live just off the high st so for me it starts and stops here. It covers 23 miles of which a large portion is either clibming or decending. There are many pubs and rest stops but it should only take around 1.5 hours to complete. The scenery when you come out of Borstal and start heading past Burham and Eccles is superb, very quiet roads. The climb up through Boxley village is hard with the worst part, a 17% climb still to come at the top, but there are some great views and lovely countryside as reward. Some quick decents and a final killer climb up to Capstone Heights is to come with a final decent and some lovely views of Medway marina just before the finish back in central Gillingham. If anyone would like to try it with me please let me know. I would love to beat my 1.5h time | |
